Our 60-Plus gang meets regularly for meals at the building and occasionally they load on the bus and go our of town. In short, our Golden Agers (aka: Over the Hill Gang) loves to fellowship, and they love welcoming new faces to the group.
Each week, our card writing team sends out notes of encouragement and cards for special occasions. It's just another way we connect with people inside and outside of our church family to let them know they are loved.
Weekly Youth Events
We have an active youth ministry. with lots of events our teens can invite their friends to. The end result is helping friends develop a walk with God while enjoying the journey as a young group of Christians.
Young parents looking for a place to help their children grow up in the Lord find that our children's ministry is very useful. We have a special Kids Time during worship, a Children's Bible Hour while the adults enjoy a sermon in the main auditorium, and seasonal events such as Trunk r Treat and Easter Egg Dash.
Our Men's Ministry meets each Wednesday night for Bible class. There are also special projects and events for all the men of our congregation designed to help reinforce God's plan for men in the kingdom of God while on life's journey.
Our ladies have a class each Wednesday that provides biblical teaching relevant to the challenges of life as a Christian woman. It's also a great opportunity to grow closer to other sisters in Christ and support one another with whatever needs may arise.
God has blessed us with many opportunities in our Prison Ministry. We have teams that go into nearby men's and women's prisons to hold Bible studies, worship services, New Life Behavior courses, and we also have a very active Bible correspondence course ministry.
Connect Groups are small groups that meet in homes each Sunday night for fellowship and Bible study on a topic that is also being studied by each of the other groups. They meet in the fall, then take a few weeks off to meet in the auditorium, then start meeting again in January thru May, then meet in the auditorium again til fall. We hope you will sign up. It's a great way to get to know your church family.
Our young families feel at home here. Of course, there are lots of activities for children, but we know that moms and dads also need to be spiritually fed. We hope you will come experience the love of Jesus thru the hospitality, compassion, and support provided by other young families going thru the same things in life that you are experiencing. Our young families also find great support from older members who've already gone down your path and are willing to help you along the way.
